Why am I Running
For far too long Ward 2 has lacked leadership and a voice for the people at City Hall. We deserve clean, safe streets, affordable, safe living conditions, and economic development to rebuild and revitalize our community. Throughout my years of service as the Chicot Neighborhood President, I have built strong working relationships and worked with the Mayor, City Board members, and key department heads to address challenges. I have spoken before Planning, zoning, and City Hall on behalf of our community, and will continue to use my voice to make sure Ward 2 is seen, heard, and respected.

Promise
By many reports, Ark ranks last nationwide in dental care, and too many seniors, families, and disabled neighbors suffer without treatment. We also have one of the highest pregnancy mortality rates in the country, with black women being disproportionately affected. Too many mothers and babies don’t get the care they need. When elected, I will partner with community leaders, hospitals, clinics, nonprofits, and investors to bring a full service health clinic to our Ward. This will create jobs, provide affordable care, and pride by giving residents access to the smile and health they deserve.
